How will my order be delivered?

All our cupcake orders are delivered by a next-day courier service. We cannot guarantee next day delivery in circumstances beyond our control, however these situations are rare.

Deliveries are largely made between 8am and 6pm, but may be delivered outside these hours. We recommend you let the recipient know to expect a delivery and to choose a date when they will be at home, or you are welcome to opt for delivery to their place of work.

When will I receive my order?

Deliveries are made by overnight courier delivery, our order cut-off time is 4pm Monday-Friday. You can select the delivery date at the checkout page.

Orders placed by 4pm Monday to Friday can be delivered the next day. Orders for Sunday delivery must be placed by 4pm on Friday.

We are unable to deliver on Bank Holidays or the next working day following a Bank Holiday. AM deliveries incur a surcharge which is applied at the checkout page.

We are unable to deliver to Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Isles of Scilly, and some rural Highland locations.

What are the delivery charges?

UK Mainland, one day: £6.95
UK Mainland, one day by 12pm: £7.95
UK Mainland, one day by 10:30am: available by arrangement with our customer service team
Scottish Highlands, one-two days: £10.95
Northern Ireland, one-two days: £14.95

How do I arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands?

As delivery times can vary for locations such as Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands and rural areas please contact us as yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk prior to placing an order to discuss any additional charges.

Can I send my gift as a surprise?

Yes you can. But you’ll need to consider what will happen if the person you’re surprising isn’t home at the time of delivery.

We’re happy to include instructions on our packaging asking the courier driver attempt to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place, and to post a card saying where the delivery is if the recipient is not home. We’ll also ask for a contact telephone number from you when you order, in case the driver is unsure what to do.

In the rare situation that no alternative location can be found, the driver will post a card through the door advising that the parcel has been returned to the delivery depot with instructions for re-delivery or collection.

Please note that we cannot take responsibility for parcels left if the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, or for parcels returned to the depot. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

Where will my gift message be?

We include your gift message on a postcard placed inside the presentation box.

How long will my cupcakes stay fresh for?

Our cupcakes are sent in sealed presentation boxes to ensure they arrive at their freshest. Flavours featuring fresh fruit are best enjoyed on the day of delivery. All other flavours are recommended to be eaten within 5 days of delivery to be at their yummiest.

There is no need to store your cupcakes in the fridge, in fact they are best at room temperature. We do recommend you keep them in an air-tight container. Our cupcakes freeze well for up to 6 weeks.

What ingredients are used in my cupcakes?

We want our cupcakes to taste fresh and homemade, we use traditional recipes and well sourced ingredients. All our cupcakes and icings are made on site. All our cakes are suitable for vegetarians. We do not add preservatives to our products and try to use natural food colouring where possible. All the eggs we use for our cakes are from free range hens.

Please note that some of our cupcakes contain nuts and there are nuts present in the bakery.

Chocolate Praline and Coffee Praline cupcakes also contain: Hazlenut Paste (praline, sugar, emulsifier; soya lecithin, may contain Milk)

Peanut Butter cupcakes also contain Peanut Butter containing: roasted Peanuts (90%), sugar, hydrogenated palm oil, salt, Peanut oil.

Are you able to deliver internationally?

Returns Policy

You are entitled to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of products which have be opened or have date expired while in your possession). We must be advised by email to yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk prior to you returning any items and you must arrange for your own return of the goods. The goods must be returned in a satisfactory condition. Returned orders will be refunded in full within 7 day. Should you be unsatisfied in any way with your purchase or gift please contact us.
