Orders

Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd offers next day delivery for orders placed by 4pm Monday to Friday, please note this is not a guaranteed service. Deliveries are made 7 days a week but subject to seasonal changes. We are unable to arrange delivery on Bank Holidays or the next working day following a Bank Holiday. We use a third party courier to fulfill deliveries. This is a trackable service with reputable couriers. We cannot guarantee delivery times or dates due to events outside of our control. Please ensure you therefore consider a possible delay or unavailability of the recipient and select a suitable preferred delivery date. We recommend delivery the day before any events or occasions.  The date and time of delivery shall not be the essence of the contract and any failure to make delivery on any particular date shall not entitle the customer to refuse the delivery or to claim for a refund of the cupcakes, any expenses, loss of profits or other consequential losses whatsoever. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and dispatch of the goods. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Once Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd have dispatched the goods to our third party courier, we cannot be held responsible for any failure on their part to deliver on your preferred date. Same day delivery can be arranged by sameday courier, please contact yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all delivery address details for the recipient given are correct, Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd cannot accept any responsibility or costs for non delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances.

On the day prior to delivery a dispatch notification will be emailed containing tracking information. On the day of delivery, our third party couriers will provide a 2 hour estimated delivery window by email or SMS (to the details provided at the time of ordering). This is intended as useful information, it is not a guaranteed delivery slot. If no one is home to take delivery, the courier will attempt to leave the gift in a safe place or with a neighbour. If in the judgement of the delivery driver there is no obvious safe place to leave the gift, a card will be left or electronic notification (email or SMS) will be sent to the sender to rearrange delivery. The gift will be returned to the depot. It is the recipient’s responsibility to make contact by calling the phone number on the card to re-deliver the gift on another day or make a selection based on the electronic notification. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd cannot accept responsibility or costs for deliveries where the recipient has not initiated contact with the courier to rearrange delivery; this remains wholly the responsibility of the recipient. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd strongly recommends that the sender advises the recipient to expect a delivery.

Ensuring that the recipient is going to be at the delivery address, on the day of delivery, remains the responsibility of the sender. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd cannot accept responsibility or costs incurred in such circumstances. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd cannot accept responsibility or any costs incurred as the result of a delay in delivery by the third party courier due to adverse weather conditions or accident. In such cases a complimentary on-line credit voucher for the value of the carriage will be offered as a gesture of goodwill. Where damage has occurred to the cupcakes due to a delay with delivery or due to courier handling a replacement will be dispatched immediately or on a future occasion of the the recipient’s choosing.

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Amendments can be made up to the point at which you click on ‘submit’ on the final page of our ordering process. It may be possible to amend a submitted order by contacting yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk. This is entirely at our discretion.

We ensure that all our products leave Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd in perfect condition. In the unlikely event you are unhappy with the product or service received please contact us via email to yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk within 48hrs of receiving the item or the expected delivery date. We may ask you to send photographs of the delivery contents and packaging. Please do not dispose of the contents or the packaging until you have received a response from us. We may need to investigate or provide additional evidence to our couriers. In the event of a damaged delivery, a replacement will be offered immediately or on a convenient future occasion. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Discount codes

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or adjust any order where a discount code has been used incorrectly, fraudulently, or without authorisation (for example, the use of codes intended for testing or internal purposes only).

Cancellations & Returns Policy

Cancellations can be requested up to 2 working days prior to dispatch. An order cannot be cancelled on or after the day of shipping.

As per distance selling regulations, due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. If you find your order damaged or you have received the wrong product please contact us immediately. Should you be unsatisfied in any way with your purchase or gift please contact us. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Packaging may vary from that shown. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website, however as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd reserves the right to change the decoration on each cake with an appropriate substitute of equal appeal and quality.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Rachael’s Kitchen Ltd shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Ingredients

All our products are freshly made to order using the finest ingredients. Where possible we try to use natural food colouring and flavourings, however this is not always possible. Some of our products contain nuts, these are clearly noted in the descriptions. We make every effort to avoid contamination of nut based products in the kitchen, however as nuts are present and may have been present in the manufacture of our ingredients, this cannot be guaranteed. It is often possible to produce equivalent products avoiding certain ingredients, for example wheat or dairy.
